There were no sun glasses or photographers, for that matter, as I ran around Pollok Park with hundreds of others, in the pouring rain, to record my 123rd parkrun and my 105th at the Glasgow Southside location.
I was happy to use the weekly free 5k race as my recovery run and enjoyed myself. An especially large vote of thanks to the volunteers who gave up their Saturday mornings to stand around in the rain to ensure the continuing success of the ever popular event.
